Lazer Lamps – Utility-45 Heavy Duty – LED – Work Light

The Utility-45 is a heavy-duty work light that has been upgraded in 2018 to provide even greater visibility, with increased intensity and improved light distribution, enabling safer and more productive working environments. The 50 lux line, defined by HSE as the effective illumination level for outdoor night work, is achieved at 10 metres, with a spread of 74o. Combined with design features to maximise functionality and reliability, this is a product you can rely on to deliver exceptional performance time after time, whatever the application.

Continuous improvement and adoption of the latest and most efficient LED technology sets the Utility Series apart from other work light solutions. 4 high density LEDs deliver 4.560 raw lumens, harnessed through ultra-reflective, vacuum-metallised optics designed and developed in the UK using advanced CAD design and light simulation software. The result is more light distributed over a larger area, and with carefully selected LEDs based on their colour temperature, proven to maximise definition whilst reducing the fatigue and strain that can come with using higher colour ranges.

The consistently high level of light output is maintained by an innovative CAE-optimised ‘Matrix’ cooling system; the increased surface area ensures that heat generated during lamp operation is dissipated away from the unit more efficiently. This process allows light output to be maximised for longer, while at the same time the Electronic Thermal Management system optimises light output taking into account the ambient and thermal conditions of the lamp.

Beyond the lighting performance, the Utility Series is a product built to last and withstand the toughest conditions. The hard-coated polycarbonate lens is now bonded in place to ensure water tightness. In line with the comprehensive 5-year* warranty, the lights have been extensively tested to meet EU regulations for vibration, shock and corrosion resistance. and in addition to a super-strong construction, advanced electronic design ensures full EMC protection to CISPR-25 (Class 3) standards.

The Utility-45 is supplied with male/female Deutsch connectors (part no. DT06-2S/DT04-2P) and is available with a choice of 'Wide' or 'Slimline' mounting bracket. Lamps with additional cable protection are available where installation is to be carried out on HGVs which must comply with ADR regulations.
