Lazer Lamps – Sentinel 9″ – Standard – LED Lamp – Black

The Sentinel range consists of 9” round lamps that combine a distinctive high-end product design with the superior lighting performance and build quality that is synonymous with the Lazer Lamps name. Available in either the Standard or Elite grades, the former houses 20 powerful LEDs and is available with a black or chrome finish on the inside of the lamp. The Elite product on the other hand is only available with the black internal appearance, but with a combination of 32 powerful LEDs it represents the very best lighting performance as expected from a product with the ‘Elite’ label.

Both the Sentinel Black and Chrome lights in the ‘Standard’ range produce the same lighting performance. The lights emit 9.529 raw lumens and deliver 1 lux to over 700m; impressive in itself, but considering the 52 degree horizontal beam angle this is a product designed to deliver maximum visibility for all types of on and off-road use. As with all Lazer products, the colour temperature is a pleasing 5000K to be easy on the eye, whilst maximising the sharpness and definition of objects ahead of you. The light is UNECE approved to Regulation 112 as a high beam driving light, through the application of Lazer’s dual output E-Boost technology; at 100% light output the light output exceeds the allowable limit of ECE regulations, so by removing the supplied Boost Cap from the rear of the light the light output is reduced to within the allowable limit.

The stealth design of the black variant of the Sentinel light is achieved through the use of black printed circuit boards and a black bezel with intricate hexagonal design detail for a unique, contemporary look. Within the light there is the option to connect a white or amber position/side light function for an even more striking look, with the white version being approved to UNECE regulation 7.

The lights are supplied with a ‘slim’ die-cast aluminium mounting bracket, which like the lights themselves has been pre-treated to automotive quality before being powder coated in satin black, for a product that is protected from aesthetic deterioration or corrosion. An alternative ‘wide’ mounting bracket, together with a range of: lens covers, support rod kit and anti-theft fixings, are available as optional accessories.

As with all Lazer products, Sentinel lights are designed, engineered and manufactured in-house, in the UK. There is no compromise on components or construction processes to achieve a superior product, whilst ensuring that environmental stewardship and an ambitious carbon reduction programme have played a more significant role than ever in the design and construction of Sentinel products.

* 'Start-up time' is the delay between the bulb receiving power and the light being emitted. Different Lazer bulbs have different start-up times depending on their electrical architecture. For this reason, we recommend that if you are purchasing two different types of Lazer bulbs for fitment to the same vehicle, you ensure that you choose products with a matching start-up time (5ms or 100ms depending on the product).
