Lazer – FLIC Smart Button

For maximum control and flexibility regarding your additional lighting installations, offers Lazer Proudly presenting a Bluetooth push button. The FLIC2 Smart Button is compatible with the CANNY interface and enables control of your lighting without the need to connect additional cables in your vehicle.

The FLIC2 Smart Button can be installed anywhere in the vehicle or on your body, within 10 meters of the CANNY interface to which it is paired. This allows you to control lighting functions with a single press of a button, and via the CANNY.LZR app, it can be configured to control up to 4 outputs, as a standalone switch or in combination with other FLIC2 Smart Buttons. The Smart Button can also be programmed to control the lighting regardless of whether the vehicle's ignition is on (or more specifically, regardless of whether the vehicle's CAN bus system is receiving power).

Examples of practical functions are:

Switching your high beams on and off (regardless of whether the vehicle's high beams are on or off) – particularly relevant in countries where the number of additional bulbs that may be connected to a vehicle's high beams is limited.

Deactivate or switch on the position light function on your Lazer-product.

Deactivating or deactivating your work/reversing lights on the vehicle. The customer can select via the CANNY app whether the button should be configured so that the CANNY output remains on or switches off when the vehicle ignition is turned off (and when no more CAN signals are being transmitted via the CAN bus system).
Mode selection for the Beacon function of your lights.
Please note: when using the FLIC2 Smart Button to control the yellow dimming mode of an Elite+ product, it is necessary to connect an additional relay to the lamp's switching channel to reverse the signal polarity. Refer to our blog article for more information on this.

The FLIC2 Smart Button is not only compatible with auxiliary lighting solutions. Via the CANNY interface, the Smart Button can be configured to control CANNY outputs, regardless of whether these outputs are set to control auxiliary lighting or other 12V accessories mounted on the vehicle.
