Important information from Ford / Volkswagen Company cars

• To the structural integrto maintain the quality of the truck loading floor, advises Ford / Volkswagen the installation of reinforcement brackets (J-brace) when installing accessories on the truck bed rail.
• In practice, this means that with accessories (for example hardtops) that protrude above the side wall of the load floor and weigh more than 45 kg, the installation of a reinforcing J-bracket is required. In the photo, the relevant part is shown in blue.

• Failure to install the brackets may void the manufacturer's warranty.
